The Australian Parliamentary Group on Population and Development (APGPD) is part of a global movement to support sexual and reproductive health.
The Global Parliamentary Alliance for Health, Rights and Development is a flexible parliamentary initiative aimed at boosting parliamentarians’ efforts to deliver on the SDGs, specifically in the areas of health and human rights. The group provides a platform for rights and to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Asia Forum for Parliamentarians on Population and Development hosts regular forums for members of the region’s parliaments to gain increased understanding and in-depth knowledge on population and development issues. Recent forums have focused on three strategic priorities: gender equality and women’s empowerment, investing in youth, and active ageing.
